Spirituality Workshops

A solid and healthy spiritual formation is essential for every form of ministry in the Church. To minister authentically in the Church, one's personal and communal spirituality should be formed by the long, rich spiritual tradition of the Roman Catholic Church as well as focused on and in tune with the pastoral needs of the present.

Mary, Mother of God: Spirituality and Devotion - Workshop Preview: Called in the Gospels ‘the Mother of Jesus,’ Mary is acclaimed by Elizabeth, at the prompting of the Spirit and even before the birth of her son, as ‘the mother of my Lord.’ In fact, the One whom she conceived as man by the Holy Spirit, who truly became her Son according to the flesh, was none other than the Father's eternal Son, the second person of the Holy Trinity. Hence the Church confesses that Mary is truly ‘Mother of God’” (CCC, 495). “On New Year's Day, the octave day of Christmas, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Holy Mother of God. (This solemnity) presents an excellent opportunity for liturgical piety to encounter popular piety..."  Interested in learning more?  Then please register below and join us for this daylong reflection.
