Liturgical Institutes
There are four liturgical institutes in the United States, three sponsored
by major universities (Notre Dame, Georgetown, and St. Louis.) The fourth
is the Institute for Liturgical Ministry, Dayton, OH.
Notre Dame University
The
Center for Liturgy,
a national resource for worship at Notre Dame University, helps church
leaders and parishes to celebrate God's presence in church and world and
to connect liturgy and life.

St. Louis University
The
Center for Liturgy
at Saint Louis University exists to study and promote this most important
foundation of the Catholic Church. Through multiple activities, we work to
continue restoration and successful enactment of the Mass and other
liturgical rituals throughout the world.

Georgetown University
Center for Liturgy

Institute for Liturgical
Ministry
The
Institute for Liturgical Ministry
is based in
Dayton, Ohio was founded by Sr. Joyce Ann Zimmerman, C.PP.S. She and Sr.
Kathleen Harmon, S.N.D. de N., M.M., maintain the institute. The Institute
for Liturgical Ministry promotes research and educational programs aimed
at forming ministers in the liturgical life of the Roman Catholic Church.

Professional Associations
The
National Association
of Pastoral Musicians
(NPM) is a membership organization primarily composed of musicians,
musician-liturgists, clergy and other leaders of prayer devoted to serving
the life and mission of the Church through fostering the art of musical
liturgy in Catholic worshiping communities in the United States of
America.
